Sense and Sensibility

I’ve got manflu so you can all sod off, I’m staying in all day. Me and Mrs N are watching Sense and Sensibility. Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Kate Winslet, Alan Rickman tearing it up and I’ve got a tub of Heroes left over from Christmas.
Yes, I know some of you would be watching “all the football” but you can keep it - I’m going full chick-flick and you can’t stop me.
If you haven’t seen it, it’s available on iPlayer for a week or so. Get it watched - the football never ends.

What's one thing that reliably improves your mood

Not looking for advice—just curious what works for different people. I think it's fascinating how different our mood-boosters are. One person's cure-all might be completely ineffective for someone else, and that's okay. What matters is finding what actually works for you. For me, I've noticed that listening to a specific playlist of songs always lifts my mood, regardless of how I was feeling before. It's almost like magic the way certain songs can shift my entire emotional state. I've had days where I was stressed or anxious, and one good song could turn it all around. What's your reliable mood-booster? Is it consistent, or does it depend on the situation? How quickly does it work for you? And have you ever shared this with someone else and found it doesn't work the same way for them? I'm genuinely curious what brings people joy and comfort in those moments when they need it.
