The stories of a barista losing their mind at work
Im (21M) a barista, have been for the better part of the last 3 years. I have gotten to a point where café customers infuriate me more than I can put into words and having a slower day at work I decided to write out a few quick stories from the last couple weeks for your entertainment.
Admitedly I never wanted to be a barista. After highschool I took a gap year due to not getting accepted into my dream university and wanted to spend that year working as a barman, though as I was looking for hiring bars or pubs in my city, my parents opened a café as a side business to their cake shop. They offered me to work for them as a way to get experience in customer service and the food industry. I gladly accepted the job, thinking I’d work there for a year or so, help my parents get the business going and after that move on to university.
For clarification I live in a country where the legal drinking age is 18
