Hi all,
I’m curious to see at what point salary wise would y’all consider switching jobs? 20%? 30%? 50%?…
There are a lot of other very important considerations however I’m curious to see what the consensus would be for just salary.

My friend has been acting distant and I feel bad because they mean a lot to me and I think it's mainly my own fault

Sorry if this is long and hard to read I’m not the best at writing but I just have a lot to talk about and wanted somewhere to put this. I’m a guy and I have a female friend which I will call Jen for this. I am best friends with Jen’s boyfriend and that is how I know her. We were pretty decent friends and sometime around late September early October 2025 we grew pretty close and were playing games with each other just about every day. When were would play games we would usually change voice chats just to talk to each other, away from our other friends if they were playing something else. When we would be in there just us, we would just speak our minds and just talk about anything not having to worry about our other friends judging us because even if we didn’t agree or it was embarrassing we didn’t make fun of each other. Sometimes we would stay up late until 4 am even if Jen had to work at 6am because we just enjoyed being around each other. Jen used to thank me a lot for playing games with her and for being basically her only friend and when Jen told me that all I’ve ever wanted to be to her is her best friend and someone that she could ever turn to if she needed anything. CMV: the bible is inherently bad.

Before I start this i just want to say, not all Christians are sexist, misogynistic or bad just that the bible and Christianity is.
Straight away in Genesis God said “I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception—in sorrow shall you bring forth children. Your desire shall be toward your husband, and he shall rule over you.” which the last part is definitely patriarchal and sexist.Adam also betrayed God, but he had less of a punishment than eve.
The bible also claims menstruation is dirty and unclean, its completely normal for all women to do this, a completely normal thing to go through, and yet in the bible its stated it's unclean in leviticus, its also said anything she touches is impure, now that is completely misogynistic, aswell that anyone who touches her is impure.
The bible also is wishy-washy on slavery, it states that a slave shall obey their master but also some believe that its calling for abolition.
Now I believe some teachings in the bible sre good such as the ten commandments but its hidden beneath these statements, I also don't hate Christianity.

I realized adulthood is just being tired in different places

As a kid, I thought adults had everything figured out.
Now I realize we’re all just tired — at work, at home, while replying to texts we should’ve answered 3 days ago.
Somehow we still keep going.
Not sure if that’s strength or just habit….
