CMV: I don’t see a point in caring

Every single day I see hundreds if not thousands of posts on (this groups) rights and (this groups) rights. I see post about what we (US) are doing elsewhere ect. And I read both sides of the argument and watch both sides turn to name calling and even threats and despite all that I just don’t care.
Is it effecting me? No? Then I don’t care. I just can’t comprehend why anyone would give a shit about anything other than themselves and their loved ones.
Before I’m labeled as a racist or nazi or whatever I’ll get this out of the way.
Me: white male
Wife: disabled white female
Son: white male dating non binary person who I think the world of
These are the people I care about and nothing that is happening does anything to them.
So seriously why do you all care so much about people you don’t and won’t ever know? Why reduce yourself to such anger and despair of shit you literally cannot change?

Architecture feedback: Managing Linux Workstations with Satellite, Ansible, and FleetDM (No Budget)

**Context:** I am a Junior Engineer tasked with integrating Linux workstations for our developers. The goal is feature parity with our Windows environment regarding control, compliance, and provisioning.
**Constraints:**
* **Budget:** $0 / Minimal. Must use Open Source or existing tools.
* **Handover:** Must be manageable by standard IT Support (who primarily know Intune).
* **Existing Infra:** We use **RH Satellite** for servers.
**The Proposed Architecture:**
* **Provisioning:** **RH Satellite (Foreman)** for PXE/Kickstart and host discovery.
* **Config Mgmt:** **Ansible**. Push (via Satellite) for post-install config, `ansible-pull` for daily state enforcement. looked into REX pull on RH-S to maybe use
* **Identity:** **FreeIPA** (trusted with AD).
* *Dilemma:* Should I join laptops directly to AD (via SSSD/Realmd) or route them through FreeIPA? I am worried about the complexity of HBAC/Sudo rules if I stick with AD for workstations.
* **MDM/Visibility:** **FleetDM** (Open Source).
* Chosen for `osquery` features. Rejected Canonical Landscape due to licensing/Ubuntu Pro requirements.
* **Updates:** Local mirror repos managed by Satellite/Ansible or other solution like UYUN

Listen, I dont care if you have a job to do or a family to feed. We ALL have important stuff we need to get done and families and loved ones to take care of. We need to get everyone on board here and stop feeding into a system that is DESIGNED to drain your life energy, your time, your joy, and your health.
If EVERY working class person and EVERY compassionate wealthy person banded together and just stopped going to work, the system would collapse so fast it would make you wonder why we didnt do it sooner.
Billionaires can plunge their own toilets and plow their own fields and raise their own children (lol).
