Is it normal to not miss people?

I've had a good and loving childhood. I love my family. But I don't miss them at all when I don't see them for a long time. I don't even really think about them.
Same goes for essentially all my friends, except a very select few. But even when I miss one of those three, I don't continuously.
Same for partners when I used to date. Tbf, I'm aro. When I move to new areas, I usually lose contact with my friends, and am fine with it. And when pets die, I am sad and hollow, but only shortly.
Otherwise, I do genuinly care a lot about these people. And I have more healthy relationships than ever, due to maturing, but I still feel about the same.
Is this a me issue, or is this a general experience?

How does your company approve or grade internally-built tools for general use by staff?

We all know IT engineers like writing scripts. Sometimes these get shared around, and next thing you know a custom shell script or app becomes the de facto standard process.
Does your company have a grading or approval system for vetting such tools? If yes, I'm curious to hear what processes you have in place for testing and approving them for general use by everyone.
Do you rely on the honour system, do you explicitly deny (or have you denied in the past) some from being used, and do you have names for different levels of approvals?
