Why weekend doesnt feel like holiday at all ?

It doesnt even sound weird , weekends feel like mandetory breaks rather than a holiday, tbh last 100 weekends i dont even know how they came and passed , maybe i am just too exhausted to enjoy these but still it feels like a bit unfair, in school days i remember how exciting sundays used to be but in work life weekends just feel mostly dull, we are either running errands, doing chores or just sleeping
