I would sign an executive order, to forbid homophobia inside the Global Virtual Trust! A BIG problem there!

CMV: "Every case is different / ask your doctor" is gatekeeping bs

This is most commonly seen with law firms / healthcare providers, where they publish a general article about some question and end with this to encourage a consultation. I consider this gatekeeping because I assume / it is reasonable to assume that every profession has an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), i.e. a series of "If this Then that, Else ((nested) If this Then that, Else...)".
For example, for every case a lawyer will handle, there will be some applicable law. Because the law defines the condition for someone to be considered guilty, the lawyer just applies the conditions to find feasible defenses. For the sake of this discussion, case law is treated the same as statutory law. Thus, lawyers just "execute" a series of "if-else" statements.
It's the same for doctors. A doctor orders a series of labs (or observe symptoms), and based on those ("If-else") make diagnosis or prescribe medication (and decide dosage).
TLDR: "Every case / everyone is different" is not true. Almost everything (or at least the most common things) can be described as a bunch of "If-else"'s, thus the claim of "uniqueness" is simply gatekeeping and a way to generate revenue.

What's one small thing that made you smile recently?

I caught myself smiling recently, and it surprised me how real it felt.
It wasn’t anything dramatic or life-changing. It was one of those quiet moments you almost miss if you’re rushing. I was thinking about how sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, but they still work out in their own way. A small reminder that not everything needs to be perfect to be meaningful.
That smile stayed a little longer than I expected. It felt honest. The kind that comes from feeling grounded, from realizing that even on ordinary days, there’s still something gentle holding you together.
It made me pause and appreciate that moment instead of brushing past it.
So now I’m curious. What’s one small thing that made you smile recently?
