CMV: Child support money should be used by the caregiver however they see fit

Child support money should be used by the caregiver however they see fit. They can use it on themselves, to buy stuff for themselves as long as the child is getting all their needs met.
The reason for this is because the caregiver pays for the child whenever it’s required. For example, if the child needs to go to the dentist, the caregiver will pay for it with their own money when necessary, not wait for the other parent to pay child support in order to pay for it half and half. Let’s say the dentist appointment is 400€/$/£ (whatever currency you want to use). That means the caregiver is at least 200€/$/£ short that month because they had to pay for the child. So the caregiver is entitled to spend 200€/$/£ from the child support on whatever they want.
Another argument is bills. The caregiver needs to pay for a bigger apartment/house, pays more for bills because the child uses water, electricity, heating etc. The caregiver pays the bill themselves, therefore they are entitled to spent at least 1/4 the amount they pay for the bills/rent out of the child support however they want.

Why do system administrator get paid less than software developers ?

I see in my company system administrators seem to me as adults in the room. Without IT most companies cannot function/survive one week, yet companies keep skeleton crew of IT staff and underpay them. On the other hand companies have no problems hiring a new developer each month. Even in meetings developers only seem to know only a small area that too team has 5 developers and a team lead supporting one application, where an IT team of 5-6 people could easily be supporting company of size 200 to 300. In terms of knowledge breadth system administrator easily has level of knowledge as of architect or principal engineer but get paid a fraction of their salary. It seems rather unfair to me how much burden IT carries. System Admin retains more Computer Science Knowledge 10 years into the job than most software developers, who specialize in a narrow domain.
PS: I am not in IT but see IT staff in my company single handedly troubleshooting issues, answering questions from plothera of teams, also dealing with bunch of other problems.

I’m learning to sit with my feelings instead of rushing to change them

It’s uncomfortable, but also kind of grounding. Not everything needs an immediate solution

My Roommate Loves To Sing

I'm a bit of a singer myself. I've been training my voice for it a long time now, and when I moved into this place with my roommate (R) just over a year ago, I was worried my belting might be a problem. Luckily, the upstairs neighbours didn't mind. They heard me pretty clear pretty quick after I moved in, and they complimented my voice, which encouraged me to sing a lot more around the house.
This has lead to R *also* singing around the house a lot more. And oh my god he's so tone deaf. Always singing flat and off key, confidantly belting incorrect lyrics, no breath control, I hate it every time he gets into the groove. He's so fucking bad, and I especially hate it when he butchers songs I really like.
I have not, and do not plan on, telling him this outside of that one time he was so hilariously flat that I accidentally laughed out loud at him.
