The incentive to pick a side in this modern day idiocracy is too strong. You must use the limited information and exploit it to grandstand or justify your moral superiority and outrage. That goes for bad actors on the right and the left.
Honestly, if we cannot even come to terms that a situation can have shades of grey and seriously complexity and multiple mistakes by all involved, how can we have a discussion? I expect many of the replies here essentially grandstanding or posturing calling for the heads of ICE or the anointing of the late Ms. Good, who likely did not want to be martyred for any movement.

Prefacing that is not an argument about immigration law, ICE legitimacy, or police training so please stay on topic about what opinion to be changed .
She knowingly entered an active federal law-enforcement operation involving armed agents operating under high stress. She verbally confronted them, panicked when approached and attempted to flee leading to physical contact . In such environments, agents make split second decisions based on perceived threat, not perfect judgment. In this case the guy panicked and reacted .
Once you insert yourself into that situation, the risk of lethal force becomes non-hypothetical. That does not mean she “ deserved”to die. It means the outcome was a non neglectable possibility , consequence of voluntary risk-taking. Framing an active enforcement operation as an opportunity for performative “Resistance” against perceived (real or not) injustice ignores the fact that these encounters are real and not a game. They are real-world situations involving weapons, elevated stress, and again, split-second decision-making. Disagreement with policy does not change the mechanics of how risk escalates in such environment.

Why

Why does bad shit have to happen to me? I was buying this car from a somewhat friend supposedly and the transmission went out. He came to pick it up to get the transmission fixed because he told me whenever I took the car that he just got the transmission put in and it was under warranty. So he come picked it up to get it fixed. A week later he told me that I needed to have $100 to him by the end of the day. I didn't have $100 by the end of the day but I did have $50 by the next day and I sent the $50 to him. Two weeks later I was in Lubbock and was hoping to pick the car up. I told him I had the $220 remaining on the vehicle, if I could go ahead and pick it up. He informed me that he did not get the transmission fixed that he put it in the bullpen, I guess for the auction. Anyways he no longer had the vehicle. I paid $1,400 for this car. I now I have nothing to go see my son next weekend, whenever I haven't seen him in 6 months.
