I'm still not over being bullied in middle school

So to start off I'm a junior in high school and I'm transgender. When I was in 8th grade, I was bullied for being trans by multiple guys who knew my deadname. I still remember the worst moment being when I was walking to the boys locker room from outside (the gym teachers would only let us in through the locker rooms) and multiple guys started yelling at me and my trans friend next to me to go to the girls locker room, before they closed the door which locked us outside. My biologically male friend let us in, but if he didn't then I don't know if anybody would've.
I still think about that. I feel like that day taught me that there's no place for people like me. The teacher didn't let us into the locker room and nobody stopped us from both immediately leaving class to cry alone. The counselor (who I liked and respected) didn't help me because according to her they never broke the student code of conduct and the school never helped or even responded to my emails. It just kills me to know that the guy that was harrassing me just gets to move on with his life and I can't.
I thought I was over it for a while, until somebody pointed out to me that if I can't talk about something that hap
