I do believe children should have self expression, but I fully believe children shouldn’t dress like adults.
I have both babysit and see Younger folks around me a And for a couple years now ivory like I see so like nine-year-olds wearing makeup it’s not just on like online you see like Pete kids do this all the time. Or wearing put together outfits that probably you’ll see an adult person anyway they’re like still and it’s like kind of weird there’s still have the face as a their age like just weird to me like, where is your like rainbows? I honestly find kids in general like really fun and sometimes I personally wanna fit me and I’m too old for it but like I just sad I don’t really see that anymore.
edit
I forgot to mention it’s mostly girls so

the intention might be solid, the rollout less so which is why this is getting picked apart That’s the impression it gives me.

Stepping back, there’s a gap between the message and the outcome so the response doesn’t surprise me Feels like an opening move, not an ending. That’s the impression it gives me.
Trying to be fair, the main issue seems to be how this is handled and that’s what people are responding to That’s what makes this interesting. We’ll see how people react over time.
this feels like a half-step, not a full move and that’s where people will push back Hard to say where this lands long term. Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
this feels more about execution than intent and that friction is hard to ignore Others will probably see it differently.
From a practical angle, this reads stronger on paper than in practice which makes the reaction pretty predictable
Reaction: Weird question, but was the person who come up with the term, "love handles" a chubby chaser?
If you zoom out, this feels rushed rather than thought through Hard to say where this lands long term.
From the outside, this depends heavily on what happens next Feels like an opening move, not an ending.
I get the idea, the signal is clear, the strategy less so That’s what changes the context. Hard to say where this lands long term.

Bluntly speaking, there’s a lot said here but not much clarified which is why the comments look the way they do Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.

From my side, the timing matters more than people admit Feels like an opening move, not an ending.
Putting bias aside, the signal is clear, the strategy less so Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
Real talk, the timing matters more than people admit and that’s the part people are stuck on That’s just my read on it.

Looking at this, the main issue seems to be how this is handled This could age very differently in a week. At least from my perspective.
From my side, the wording alone shifts how people read this
the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone That part stands out. Others will probably see it differently.
