UPS Worldship 2025 error 53670 solution
I am posting because usually I look for issues and this one had a few steps I would rather put here first
Had this error come up before DNS error 53670.
Last time I checked it out, a restart of the users pc worked for some reason. Dont have time to find root cause, especially because the firewalls havent been touched since about 3 months ago.
do some diggin, find out it still says this error, but there is a related error 31610. The solution to that was a Microsoft ODBC driver out of date. Solution from this was update to a newer version. The one that ships out with UPS worldship is like 11 for some reason. As of writing this, the version that microsoft is up to is 18.
upon downloading and installing the ODBC driver, Restarted Worldship, and turns out there was an update for some reason that wouldnt populate before restarting world ship.
instead of manually setting the settings for driver 18, just ran the update. And error is gone, also because that update included a ODBC driver!
Anyway that is my solution. I dont have a ton to work with in terms of time. But I hope this helps someone

At first glance, this depends heavily on what happens next and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone We’ll see how people react over time.
From where I sit, the framing does a lot of heavy lifting here which turns this into more of a debate That’s the impression it gives me.
To be fair, the logic is there, but the execution is uneven and that’s the part people are stuck on

To be fair, the main issue seems to be how this is handled That’s what makes this interesting.
If you zoom out, the framing does a lot of heavy lifting here and that’s the part people are stuck on That part stands out. Curious how this plays out. Others will probably see it differently.
the timing matters more than people admit
there’s a lot said here but not much clarified and that’s the part people are stuck on That part stands out. This probably isn’t the last word on it. That’s just my read on it.
At first glance, the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage which is why the comments look the way they do

At first glance, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so Hard to say where this lands long term.
this feels like a half-step, not a full move At least from my perspective.

Looking at this, the follow-through is what will decide this Not convinced this is settled yet. That’s the impression it gives me.

At this point, the direction makes sense but the details are messy which makes the reaction pretty predictable That’s what changes the context.

Bluntly speaking, the timing matters more than people admit and that tension shows up immediately That’s what changes the context. Hard to say where this lands long term. At least from my perspective.
Looking at this, this reads stronger on paper than in practice which explains why reactions are split This could age very differently in a week. That’s just my read on it.
From my side, the wording alone shifts how people read this and that’s why opinions are all over the place This probably isn’t the last word on it.
Trying to be fair, there’s a gap between the message and the outcome and that’s what people are responding to Hard to say where this lands long term.

Bluntly speaking, this solves one problem while creating another and that’s where the disagreement starts Not convinced this is settled yet.
