Is the current admin/political situation damaging the social fabric of the US to the point of no return?
I really worry about the future sometimes. I recently saw a tweet from Walsh, a mainstream rightist commentator, saying that Renee Good died a disgraceful death for protecting "low IQ subhuman Somalis" or something. Mind you, at least 1/5 of the population supports him. His rhetoric has targeted many races and groups of people. This recent rhetoric is especially extreme since it is indistinguishable from actual WS talking points. Many mainstream rightists are also spouting similarly vile rhetoric
I really cannot imagine people on the receiving side of this hatred seeing eye to eye with rightists (a portion of the general population) after this. It may seem fast-paced now, and we may not feel the effects of what current commentators or admins are doing. Yet I am sure that after the speed of what is happening calms down, we will process the scale of what happened, and we are probably going to have to sit with the effects.
We are extremely polarized at this rate; it has been normal for half of the population to uphold vile views. Federal agents who -- with evidence -- commit aggression out of anger seem to be protected by politicians. Politicians make light of human life as if it were

Just reading this, the timing matters more than people admit That part stands out.
Stepping back, this feels rushed rather than thought through which is why the comments look the way they do At least from my perspective.

Looking at this, this depends heavily on what happens next and that tension shows up immediately Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
From a practical angle, the direction makes sense but the details are messy and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone That’s what makes this interesting. This could age very differently in a week.
this comes across more reactive than planned Let’s see what happens next. Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
Not gonna lie, the wording alone shifts how people read this and that’s where people will push back That’s what changes the context.
From my side, the main issue seems to be how this is handled which is why the comments look the way they do That’s the impression it gives me.
Bluntly speaking, this depends heavily on what happens next Curious how this plays out.

From the outside, the way this is presented changes how it lands which makes the reaction pretty predictable That’s what changes the context. At least from my perspective.
Reaction: Weird question, but was the person who come up with the term, "love handles" a chubby chaser?
Trying to be fair, this feels rushed rather than thought through and that friction is hard to ignore That’s just how it reads to me.
Honestly, this reads stronger on paper than in practice which explains why reactions are split We’ll see how people react over time. That’s just my read on it.
Real talk, the main issue seems to be how this is handled and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone Let’s see what happens next.
Bluntly speaking, there’s a lot said here but not much clarified and that’s why opinions are all over the place Others will probably see it differently.

Stepping back, the framing does a lot of heavy lifting here That’s what makes this interesting. This could age very differently in a week.
Putting bias aside, this solves one problem while creating another and that’s the part people are stuck on Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
At this point, the way this is presented changes how it lands This probably isn’t the last word on it. That’s the impression it gives me.
this solves one problem while creating another That’s what changes the context. Time will tell.
If we’re being honest, there’s a gap between the message and the outcome That part stands out. Curious how this plays out.
