I'm autistic & only let ppl interact with me for 1 hour max
Right now I'm back to uni. Even though I'm surrounded by people all day it doesn't necessarily mean I talk to them thank god. I go through great lengths just to avoid socialising. I carry a timer in my pocket. And honestly? No regrets. Of course I know in the workplace, it's more complicated. I've worked jobs before uni and it felt like dodging bullets. There's literally studies done saying allisitic people become hostile to neurodivergents. I've found this to be kinda true. So I just decided to treat interactions like a ticking time bomb. Then excuse myself. I don't want friends. I don't want a partner. I want everyone to stay temporary and distant.

If we’re being honest, there’s a lot said here but not much clarified and that’s where it gets complicated
Trying to be fair, the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage which turns this into more of a debate That’s just how it reads to me.
At first glance, the wording alone shifts how people read this and that friction is hard to ignore That’s what makes this interesting. Not convinced this is settled yet. That’s the impression it gives me.

the signal is clear, the strategy less so and that tension shows up immediately Feels like there’s more coming here.

Not gonna lie, this depends heavily on what happens next and that tension shows up immediately This could age very differently in a week.
Putting bias aside, the framing does a lot of heavy lifting here which explains why reactions are split
