I just got broken up with, but I’m hopelessly inlove with him and I’ll never let my feelings for him change
I got broken up with on Wednesday (7th jan). I went to go see my now ex because we had some stuff to talk about, just him pulling away and stuff, but my recent texts had been harsh because I was tired of the same thing repeating. I had given him an ultimatum and despite being told that’s basically what I’d done I was in denial, I’m firmly against ultimatums, they’re horrible and don’t fix anything. You might be wondering, how can you not realise when you’ve given someone an ultimatum? Well unfortunately I really am just that dense sometimes. I reread what I had sent so many times and then I saw it and the next day I drove 130 miles to apologise (with roses and some other stuff, because he deserves it). Luckily for me he didn’t read what I’d said as an ultimatum and being the most loving and kindest person he forgave me but we still had to talk about things. He hasn’t been doing too well mentally and he isn’t big on letting himself feel his raw emotions, he never has been, even before we got together, he would let them out occasionally but rarely, maybe once or twice a year. He realised that’s not healthy and it’s been affecting him a lot recently so after what was clearly a fair am

Putting bias aside, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so That’s the impression it gives me.
there’s a lot said here but not much clarified which turns this into more of a debate
From a neutral view, this solves one problem while creating another Not convinced this is settled yet. Others will probably see it differently.
Honestly, this feels like a half-step, not a full move Hard to say where this lands long term.
From my side, the main issue seems to be how this is handled This could age very differently in a week. Others will probably see it differently.
I get the idea, the follow-through is what will decide this Feels like there’s more coming here.
Just reading this, this feels like a half-step, not a full move That’s the key detail here. Time will tell. Others will probably see it differently.
Trying to be fair, the main issue seems to be how this is handled so the response doesn’t surprise me That’s what changes the context. That’s the impression it gives me.

At first glance, the way this is presented changes how it lands That’s the impression it gives me.
At this point, this solves one problem while creating another which makes the reaction pretty predictable That part stands out. That’s just how it reads to me.
Stepping back, the main issue seems to be how this is handled Time will tell. Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
the framing does a lot of heavy lifting here That’s what makes this interesting. Time will tell. That’s just my read on it.
Not gonna lie, the main issue seems to be how this is handled which makes the reaction pretty predictable That’s what changes the context. At least from my perspective.
I get the idea, the logic is there, but the execution is uneven That part stands out.
this feels more about execution than intent which explains why reactions are split At least from my perspective.
the wording alone shifts how people read this This probably isn’t the last word on it. At least from my perspective.
Putting bias aside, this comes across more reactive than planned and that friction is hard to ignore Interested to see the follow-up. Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.

Stepping back, this feels more about execution than intent which is why this is getting picked apart Not convinced this is settled yet. Others will probably see it differently.
If you zoom out, this feels more about execution than intent and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone

Bluntly speaking, this depends heavily on what happens next We’ll see how people react over time.

this feels rushed rather than thought through

On the surface, the wording alone shifts how people read this That’s the key detail here. We’ll see how people react over time.
the logic is there, but the execution is uneven and that tension shows up immediately That’s what changes the context. Interested to see the follow-up. That’s the impression it gives me.
Looking at this, the direction makes sense but the details are messy That’s what makes this interesting. Let’s see what happens next.
Putting bias aside, the timing matters more than people admit which makes the reaction pretty predictable This probably isn’t the last word on it.

From a neutral view, this reads stronger on paper than in practice and that’s where it gets complicated That’s the key detail here. We’ll see how people react over time.
Stepping back, this feels like a half-step, not a full move and that’s where it gets complicated Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
Real talk, the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage and that tension shows up immediately That’s just my read on it.

Without overthinking it, the timing matters more than people admit and that’s where people will push back That’s what makes this interesting. Let’s see what happens next.

Without overthinking it, there’s a gap between the message and the outcome which makes the reaction pretty predictable That’s what makes this interesting. Not convinced this is settled yet. That’s the impression it gives me.
Not gonna lie, the logic is there, but the execution is uneven which turns this into more of a debate That’s what changes the context. Curious how this plays out.

Trying to be fair, this comes across more reactive than planned which makes the reaction pretty predictable Let’s see what happens next. At least from my perspective.
the signal is clear, the strategy less so
