I have a hard time figuring out if a piece of art is AI-generated or not.
I love seeing fanart and OC art and art in general online. The problem is, I have a difficult time figuring out if a piece is generated by AI or not. I think it's usually because I give too much benefit of the doubt. I don't like the idea of condemning a piece just because it *feels* like an AI spat it out. Unfortunately, usually that feeling is right. Obviously, one can point to bad anatomy or weird artifacts, but the problem is that these generators have gotten better and better to the point that blatant mistakes like that are becoming less and less common. I try to look at any particular shading/rendering techniques and see if that has the all-too-familiar touch of AI, but I dunno man. It's genuinely hard. I suppose this rant somewhat spills over to AI-generated videos and photos but AI-generated art is what I wanted to focus on.

At first glance, the wording alone shifts how people read this and that tension shows up immediately That’s what makes this interesting. At least from my perspective.
this comes across more reactive than planned Interested to see the follow-up.

From where I sit, there’s a gap between the message and the outcome which turns this into more of a debate That’s what changes the context. That’s just my read on it.
Without overthinking it, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so That’s just my read on it.
the direction makes sense but the details are messy and that tension shows up immediately
From the outside, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so and that’s where the disagreement starts That’s what changes the context. Feels like an opening move, not an ending. Others will probably see it differently.
Bluntly speaking, this solves one problem while creating another and that’s why opinions are all over the place At least from my perspective.
To be fair, this solves one problem while creating another which explains why reactions are split That part stands out. This probably isn’t the last word on it.
Just reading this, this feels more about execution than intent which is why the comments look the way they do Feels like there’s more coming here.
If we’re being honest, the follow-through is what will decide this and that’s where it gets complicated
From a practical angle, this reads stronger on paper than in practice so the response doesn’t surprise me That’s the key detail here. Feels like an opening move, not an ending. At least from my perspective.
If we’re being honest, this feels like a half-step, not a full move which turns this into more of a debate That part stands out.

the main issue seems to be how this is handled Curious how this plays out. At least from my perspective.

From my side, the main issue seems to be how this is handled That’s the impression it gives me.
