I feel like my friends left me alone
I am a part of a friend group, but was particularly close to 3 members. We were all single, and it didn't seem like anyone was going to date any time soon. Which was great, as an aroace person I felt like I didn't have to worry about losing my friends to partners. Which was honestly something I was afraid of.
Then one day, two of the three suddenly started dating. To be fair, there were rumors, but they dissipated over the years since they were both adamant that they didnt like each other. So, when it did happen, it came out of nowhere. When they brought the news I already had my worries about losing not one, but TWO of my best friends. We talked about this stuff and everything seemed like it was going to be fine.
Right after the Christmas holidays happened and everyone moved back to their respective countries. Mind you, the third friend might move away forever, so I'd lose her too. And it was 3 weeks of mostly texting and calls. When it was over, the two friends were immediately spending time together. Understandable.
However, it's been barely 2 weeks and I feel already so excluded. We all used to do everything together. Not anymore. Now, they do everything together. They stopped
