I do believe children should have self expression, but I fully believe children shouldn’t dress like adults.
I have both babysit and see Younger folks around me a And for a couple years now ivory like I see so like nine-year-olds wearing makeup it’s not just on like online you see like Pete kids do this all the time. Or wearing put together outfits that probably you’ll see an adult person anyway they’re like still and it’s like kind of weird there’s still have the face as a their age like just weird to me like, where is your like rainbows? I honestly find kids in general like really fun and sometimes I personally wanna fit me and I’m too old for it but like I just sad I don’t really see that anymore.
edit
I forgot to mention it’s mostly girls so

From where I sit, this reads stronger on paper than in practice and that’s where the disagreement starts That’s the impression it gives me.
If we’re being honest, the way this is presented changes how it lands and that friction is hard to ignore Feels like there’s more coming here.

this comes across more reactive than planned and that’s where people will push back
this reads stronger on paper than in practice which explains why reactions are split That part stands out.
Reaction: Just always
From a practical angle, the signal is clear, the strategy less so At least from my perspective.
Real talk, this feels rushed rather than thought through That’s what changes the context.
this feels like a half-step, not a full move At least from my perspective.
I get the idea, the way this is presented changes how it lands and that’s why opinions are all over the place Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.

the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage and that friction is hard to ignore Interested to see the follow-up. That’s the impression it gives me.
the direction makes sense but the details are messy and that’s the part people are stuck on That’s the key detail here. Others will probably see it differently.

this depends heavily on what happens next which is why the comments look the way they do Not convinced this is settled yet. Others will probably see it differently.
