I cant get mad when someone insults my parents

Its hard for me to get mad when someone insults my parents and I have to forcibly act like im mad and then I look like a weirdo because Im not good either at acting like im mad.
Im genuinely someone that doesnt care at all when I get verbally insulted I just get offended by actions not by words.
I always thought about having to be mad or act hostile when someone insults your loved ones but I dont care so at the end I have to act like im mad.

this solves one problem while creating another so the response doesn’t surprise me Hard to say where this lands long term.

From where I sit, the signal is clear, the strategy less so which is why this is getting picked apart That’s what makes this interesting. Curious how this plays out. Others will probably see it differently.
