In addition, institutional investors are not purchasing houses and leaving them empty while it appreciates in value. That would be a terrible return on investment. These houses are being rented out and lived in. If you have a problem with that business model, then you should go after the mom and pop investors that purchase 5x more the amount of homes than mega investors.
