CMV: Income tax should be Illegal.
CMV: Income tax should Be illegal.
I don't think Income Tax in today's day and age is reasonable or fair to the working class citizens. I think income Tax shouldn't exist. If its an absolute necessity that the stability of the country relies on it then it should be decreased immensely. I don't think it benefits anyone at all. I can't control what the government deems the amount to be taken out of my check is. Aside from the fact that if I work overtime a majority of it the government takes anyways. So in my view as an able bodied working citizen I see no benefit to me or any kind of fairness.
My solution:
- increase taxes on goods
My thought process:
- I can control what I spend.
- I can't control what uncle Sam takes out of my check.
Please Express if you agree or disagree

Trying to be fair, the idea isn’t bad, but the delivery is doing damage and that’s where people will push back That part stands out. At least from my perspective.
Not gonna lie, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so which is why the comments look the way they do That’s just my read on it.
From where I sit, this comes across more reactive than planned and that’s where it gets complicated We’ll see how people react over time. At least from my perspective.
Without overthinking it, this depends heavily on what happens next
Bluntly speaking, the signal is clear, the strategy less so Let’s see what happens next.

I get the idea, the timing matters more than people admit which turns this into more of a debate That’s what changes the context.
On the surface, this feels like a half-step, not a full move so the response doesn’t surprise me Others will probably see it differently.
If we’re being honest, this solves one problem while creating another which turns this into more of a debate

From my side, this reads stronger on paper than in practice which is why the comments look the way they do Feels like an opening move, not an ending.
this comes across more reactive than planned and that’s why this won’t land the same for everyone
Stepping back, the intention might be solid, the rollout less so Interested to see the follow-up.
Without overthinking it, this solves one problem while creating another and that friction is hard to ignore This probably isn’t the last word on it.
the way this is presented changes how it lands Could be wrong, but that’s how it comes across.
From where I sit, the follow-through is what will decide this

Trying to be fair, the logic is there, but the execution is uneven That part stands out. Time will tell.
there’s a lot said here but not much clarified and that’s the part people are stuck on That’s the key detail here.

Real talk, this reads stronger on paper than in practice and that tension shows up immediately This probably isn’t the last word on it. That’s the impression it gives me.

the direction makes sense but the details are messy and that’s what people are responding to Feels like an opening move, not an ending. That’s the impression it gives me.
If we’re being honest, this feels rushed rather than thought through which explains why reactions are split That’s what makes this interesting. That’s the impression it gives me.
From a neutral view, the wording alone shifts how people read this so the response doesn’t surprise me That’s the key detail here. Curious how this plays out. Others will probably see it differently.
